Vice President for Academic Life, Dean of Faculty, Director of Supervised Ministry
Associate Professor of Practical Theology
I continue to have a longing to work on Wise Womaning; a spiritual guide for the Maidens, Mothers and Crones as they seek to honor their own wisdom and that of other women.
Most recently I have begun to explore the dynamic of what happen in a faith community when the pastor is ill. Some of the questions that I have begun to consider are: What short-term and long-term effects does the illness of the pastor have on the health of the congregation? How does the pastor re-establish the boundaries that may have become blurred during the illness? How does the pastor assure the people that they are whole and ready to lead, no need to fear?
Most recently, Supervised Ministry; Celtic Spirituality with a required trip to the IONA Community in Scotland, Pastoral Care, Thesis Writing, The CRCDS Tradition Than & Now, The Dance of Women’s Spirituality, Native American Spirituality, Conflict Transformation
